Meet The Owner

Two things have always defined Brandon Groom’s life: faith and wrestling. The scripture that guides his mission is: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” — Ephesians 6:12 Brandon has seen this verse lived out firsthand throughout his journey — as a youth, as a junior high and high school wrestler, and throughout his 27-year professional wrestling career, which includes working with major promotions such as WWE (since 2000) and the NWA. At just 23 years old, Brandon ran his first Christian wrestling ministry event in 2003. He continued these faith-based shows in 2005, 2013, 2015, and 2019, blending world-class athleticism with a bold gospel message long before faith-centered wrestling was common. A former youth pastor (2010), Brandon also launched a gym and training center in 2010 — a place designed to strengthen both body and faith. In 2015, he trained and mentored youth in a Christian pro wrestling camp, where the name Lionheart was born. Known to fans as “Boom Boom Brandon Groom,” he encourages everyone he meets to bring the BOOM which means “Best On Our Mission” (because we’re all on a mission) and to “always believe”! Bringing the best that you can with the purpose & gifts that God gave you, along with faith that as Christians, Jesus Christ is your tag team partner and anything is possible !
